All music that has harsh vocals in it is automatically "screamo".
I actually like real screamo and Metalcore/Deathcore (Which is what people usually confuse for screamo) but if someone says anything with harsh vocals is screamo it just shows their musical ignorance.

If an artist uses autotune they have no talent or can't sing, that is far from the truth. I don't like autotune but there are artist who use it that can actually sing.

Once I asked my friend to change the radio to my station and he promptly told me that we aren't going to listen to any Death Metal in his car. I think it was because he saw me wearing a Motorhead t-shirt this one time and wearing all black so he decided that I was a rocker. The kicker was that the station plays soft/pop rock like The Strokes and Weezer. People are funny sometimes. XD
